Both shootings are still being investigated.In January,\u00a0a man was found shot in his car\u00a0in the apartment\u2019s parking lot, his condition and identity have not been released.That same month, a\u00a017-year-old boy was shot in the head\u00a0while taking out the trash. He was rushed to the ICU where he had to be put on life support.The City of South Fulton discussed plans\u00a0for the apartment in a town hall meeting but said that the process would take time.\u201cThis is an unacceptable safety record for any property in the State of Georgia.\u00a0 We must demand better,\u201d says victim attorney Frank Bayuk of Georgia law firm Bayuk Pratt.\u00a0 \u201cWhen residents are repeatedly victimized by criminals at a property, the owners and managers of that property have a duty to take action. Six shootings at this property in one year is outrageous.
