Bradley Pratt is a fierce advocate for his clients.  One opposing lawyer said of Bradley, “In nearly 30 years of practice, he was perhaps my most skilled adversary.  He is a first-class lawyer.”  When families are struck by unimaginable tragedy, and the only option is to win, they turn to Bradley.  He has recovered over $300 million for his clients against big corporate defendants across the country.

Expertise on the inside.  Bradley began his career in law as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He then joined King & Spalding, an AmLaw 50 firm whose clients represent over half of the Fortune Global 100, and became partner after only six years. Throughout his tenure, some of the largest corporations in the world entrusted Bradley with some of their most challenging, high-stakes matters. This experience is so important to his clients today:  working people and families.  One of Bradley’s greatest professional satisfactions has been his decision to stop defending large international businesses. Bradley instead put the skills he developed in Big Law to use representing individuals and families, people who don’t believe they have a voice when an injury or a senseless death turns their lives upside down. He’s won life-changing court cases for citizens harmed or defrauded by corporate wrongdoing.

A world class trial lawyer.  Few trial lawyers today have the breadth and scope of complex and challenging trial experience as Bradley. While most lawyers settle their cases without court involvement, he regularly takes cases before judges and juries. Bradley’s record includes victories in courtrooms throughout the Southeast (in states such as Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida), and around the country, from California to Pennsylvania. He also has experience successfully arguing cases on appeal before state Supreme Courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeal. Bradley has brought highly sophisticated cases to verdict, such as bellwether mass tort cases in a “complex litigation” jurisdiction (that is, the “tip of the spear” case that is tried first before thousands of similar cases) to a large-scale federal class action (involving thousands of claims litigated at once).

Large and complex cases.  Bradley thrives on complex litigation. He puts a strong focus on large personal injury and wrongful death cases. These include trucking collisions, an area in which he has considerable experience as former national counsel for one of the largest shippers in the world. Bradley is also a top-rate attorney in class-actions, which involve breach of contract, false or misleading marketing, or fraud. He is also a leader in “whistleblower” cases, where he’s represented people with inside knowledge of their corporate employer’s false or fraudulent representations to the government (costing taxpayer dollars) in exchange for government payment. In addition, Bradley is recognized as one of the top lawyers in the country bringing litigation involving defective products causing serious injuries or death, such as defective tires, defective golf carts and ATVs, and unsafe automobiles.

Family and faith.  A Mississippi native, Bradley learned to hunt from his grandfather and to fish from his father. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lelia, and he’s passing down his love for the outdoors to his three children, Cole, Abby, and Betty.
