When accident victims ask for who to turn to for justice, there’s a reason why Bradley Pratt’s name is most often the answer. That’s because he has direct experience in how large companies and their insurance partners defend themselves against accident lawsuits. And he knows how to defeat them.

As a former Big Law attorney, Bradley brings keen insight, sharp courtroom savvy, and unrelenting determination to Bayuk Pratt. He helps people who were injured due to no fault of their own fight back against insurers who try to deny compensation in complex injury, faulty product, and catastrophic cases. Along with Frank Bayuk, whose background also is in corporate legal representation, Bradley has helped Atlanta and Georgia residents recover more than $300 million.

Bradley thrives on complex litigation. He puts a strong focus on large personal injury and wrongful death cases. These include trucking collisions, an area in which he has considerable experience as former national counsel for one of the largest shippers in the world. Bradley is also a top-rate attorney in class-action suits, which involve breach of contract, false or misleading marketing, or fraud. He has taken “whistleblower” cases, where he’s represented people with inside knowledge of their employer’s false or fraudulent representations to the government in exchange for government payment. Bradley’s book of business also contains successful product liability lawsuits for matters of tire failure, dangerous drugs, and toxic chemicals.

Few trial lawyers today have the breadth and scope of complex and challenging trial experience as Bradley. While most lawyers settle their cases without court involvement, he regularly takes cases before judges and juries. Bradley’s record includes victories in courtrooms throughout the Southeastern region (in states such as Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, and Florida), as well as across the country, from California to Pennsylvania. He also has experience successfully arguing cases on appeal before state supreme courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals. Bradley’s name has appeared as counsel for highly sophisticated cases brought to verdict, from a bellwether mass tort case in a “complex litigation” jurisdiction to a large-scale federal class action.

Bradley began his career in law as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. He soon joined King & Spalding, an AmLaw 50 firm whose clients represent over half of the Fortune Global 100, and reached the partnership level after only six years. Throughout his tenure, some of the largest corporations in the world entrusted Bradley with some of their most challenging, high-stakes matters.

One of his greatest professional satisfactions is his deciding to stop defending large international businesses. Bradley instead put the skills he developed in Big Law to use representing individuals and families, people who don’t believe they have a voice when an injury or a senseless death turns their lives upside down. He’s won life-changing court cases for citizens harmed or defrauded by corporate wrongdoing.

A Mississippi native, Bradley learned to hunt from his grandfather and to fish from his father. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lelia, and he’s passing down his love for the outdoors to his three children, Cole, Abby, and Betty.
